Degradation of or diseases of joint cartilage, due to intense activity or wear due to age, can lead to inflammation in joints resulting in reduced mobility and performance (1). To support the production and maintenance of healthy joints and cartilage, it is advised to feed supplements to promote the horse's mobility.
The components Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin Sulphate are both found in healthy cartilage (1), and scientific research shows that adding these components to the diet has a positive significant effect on the horse's mobility (2).
